Christopher Columbus

In the 1400’s an Italian man Christopher Columbus asked his Government, if he could have money and a ship to sail west to reach India, no one agreed with him. Eventually the king of Spain gave him money. Instead of going to India he sailed to the Americans where he called the native Americans, Indians, as he thought he was in India.
